With appropriate care, your teeth that have root canal treatment can last as long as other natural teeth. Occasionally, a tooth that has received treatment may fail to heal, or pain may continue. In this case, an endodontic retreatment may be needed.

If retreatment is needed, Dr. Habas will reopen your tooth. The old restorative materials will be removed to gain access to the root canal. Dr. Habas will carefully examine and clean the inside of the tooth. Once cleaned, Dr. Habas will fill and seal the canals.
